MIAMI – One person was killed Monday morning in a shooting in the city of Miami, authorities confirmed.
The shooting was reported in the area of 7000 NW 15th Ave.
Local 10 News reporter Trent Kelly was at the scene as the road was blocked off with police tape.
A relative of the victim said the man was in his 30s and was chased by the shooter into a nearby store, but police have not yet confirmed those details.
Authorities would only initially confirm that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
