JetBlue plane heads back to Fort Lauderdale after 3 flight attendants fall ill

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A JetBlue plane headed to Barbados landed back at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Thursday afternoon after three flight attendants said they were feeling ill, an airport spokesman said. 

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said the flight attendants walked from the upper deck of Terminal 3 to a waiting ambulance to be checked out.

It's unclear what caused them to become ill or whether they were taken to a hospital.
