PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Another rainy day is in store for South Florida.
"The west wind is what's driving in the rain from the Gulf of Mexico into the metro and eventually the coastal areas," Local 10 News meteorologist Julie Durda said Tuesday.
Durda said the rain will continue to move to the east throughout the day.

"There's plenty of available moisture out there," Durda said.
Durda said temperatures will remain muggy in the Florida Keys, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
She said a weak cold front will make its way to South Florida.
"Basically it's going to be the trigger mechanism for us to see some strong thunderstorms today, just like what we saw yesterday," Durda said. "But the difference is that the coverage will be more widespread."
Durda said the thunderstorms could begin as early as 11 a.m.
"Expect a wet couple of days ahead," she said.
