SWEETWATER, Fla. ā The Dolphin Mall was evacuated Saturday night after reports of a shooting, but it seems the reports were unfounded.
Miami-Dade police continue to investigate the incident at the Sweetwater mall, but no victims or witnesses have come forward, Detective Argemis Colome said Monday in a news release.

"Detectives haveĀ not locatedĀ any evidence indicative of a shooting scene," Colome said in the release.
Sweetwater police requested the assistance of the Miami-Dade Police Department after reports of shots being fired inside the mall.
Police established a perimeter and ordered an evacuation. However, after a thorough search of the mall, police found no gunshot victims or shooting scene.
The Dolphin Mall reopened Sunday.
