MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – One person was shot outside a corner store in northwest Miami-Dade County Tuesday, police said.
Officers said the man was standing just outside of the Yellow Meat Market on Northwest 79th Street and 10th Avenue when someone shot him.
Police said the gunman left in a green Volvo that was waiting nearby.
The victim was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center. His condition has not been released.
The shooting occurred just six blocks away from the location of an overnight shooting in which four people were injured and a teenage boy was killed.
It's unclear whether the two shootings are related.
