MIRAMAR – If you're looking to safely dispose your guns, the Miramar Police Department, along with the Broward Sheriff's office, will hold a gun buyback event Saturday.
The event is taking place at the Emanuel Apostolic Church located at 6114 SouthWest 35th Court in Miramar, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Gift cards of up to $200 dollars will be given for each firearm.
For safety purposes, police ask those who attend to arrive with their weapons unloaded and locked in the trunk or another accessible part of their vehicles.
BB guns or pellet guns can be donated, but are not eligible for compensation.
