Developers for the country’s largest convenience store have submitted permits for a location in Leon County.

The permit, filed on Feb. 5, details plans to build a 75,000 sq ft. facility north of Interstate 10.

The location, more than 73 acres on the corner of Park Place PUD and the west side of Capital Circle NW, would include 120 gas pumps, nearly 800 parking spaces, 11 bus/RV spaces and 24 spots for electric vehicles.

A 4th Buc-ee’s on the Treasure Coast is well on its way.

Late last month, a final site plan application was submitted to St. Lucie County for the new Buc-ee’s location in the southeast corner of Indrio Road and I-95.

County records show the Buc-ee’s development on the Treasure Coast has been in the works since February 2024.

Last April, Gov. Ron DeSantis awarded $4 million to the Florida Department of Transportation to add a new interchange on I-75 in Marion County. The interchange in Ocala is another planned Buc-ee’s site.

The other Buc-ee’s locations in Florida are in St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.
