PALM COAST, Fla. – There was a whole lot of snow in north Florida last month, but a much different kind of ice fell from the sky near Daytona Beach on Monday.

The Palm Coast Fire Department responded after reports that a six-foot sized chunk of ice fell from the sky.
When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found that the ice had punched a large hole in the metal roof of a home.
There was also ice scattered across the road.
No one was hurt, an inspectors gave the all clear for the very unlucky family to return to their home.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating where the ice came from.
