HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A married Florida couple is facing charges, after deputies said they engaged in sexual acts with a 16-year-old.
According to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue lieutenant, Sascha Engel, 39 and his wife, Alyssa Engel, 37, forced the minor to engage in sexual activities at their home in March 2024.

“It is both disgusting and deeply disappointing to see not one, but two adults join together to take advantage of a young child, especially when one of those adults is a trusted authority in our community,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister.
Sascha Engel and Alyssa Engel face three counts each for unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
The investigation is ongoing.
