LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando is starting to look a lot more like it did before the pandemic.
This will be the first weekend in years when guests will no longer have to have a Theme Park Reservation prior to visiting any of Disney’s four theme parks. Guests can also hop to any of the parks at any time during the day with their all-day Park Hopper Access.

Many of the changes went into effect as early as Tuesday this week. Let’s revisit all the ways your next visit will look like it used to:
- Theme Park Reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets. This would include one-day tickets, date-based multi-day tickets or tickets included in a vacation package.
- Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can also visit the theme parks without a prior reservation on “good-to-go” days. Passholders can check their My Disney Experience App for details on when they can visit the parks without a prior reservation. This service will start back up on Thursday, Jan. 11.
- Guests will now be able to visit a second, third or fourth park when they add the Park Hopper Option to their ticket at any time of the day. During the pandemic, guests were able to visit the theme park they made a Theme Park Reservation for and after 2 p.m. were granted access to another park.
- Disney Dining Plans are back. After a pandemic pause, Disney Dining Plans and Disney Quick-Service Dining Plans are available for guests who purchase a vacation package.
Florida Residents can now take advantage of a new theme park ticket offer for the Spring. The Disney Thrills Ticket will give Mickey’s neighbors a chance to purchase a two-day, one park per day ticket for $199. There is also a three-day, one park per day option for $219. This ticket deal does require guests to check for Theme Park Reservation Ability though, so check the calendar. The Park Hopper Option can also be added for an additional $40. Tickets will be valid from Jan. 11 to Feb. 19, 2024.
