Alligator found with top half of its jaw missing has new home

SANFORD, Fla. – An alligator with the top half of its jaw missing rescued last week has found a new home in Orlando.

According to a statement online, Gatorland Orlando received the female alligator over the weekend.

An environmental organization believes the alligator was injured by a snare trap in a failed poaching attempt.
