ORLANDO, Fla. – One of the final pieces in the puzzle to complete Brightline’s planned route from Miami to Orlando has arrived.
The “Bright Orange 2″ train arrived in Orlando this week after a 10-day cross-country journey from the Siemens facility in Sacramento, California.

The arrival of the “Bright Orange 2″ completes the Brightline fleet of 10 trains.
It the last of five new trains to arrive in Florida in the past 18 months in preparation for the opening of the Brightline Orlando station.
In total, the trainset weighs 643 tons and measures 556 feet long.
The high-speed rail company said its Orlando construction project is 90% complete, and is expected to begin operating later this year.
