Florida deputies arrest man accused of lifting young girls’ skirt, taking pictures

MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. – Martin County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man accused of videotaping and taking pictures of young children in Jensen Beach.

Deputies arrested Pedro Yovannie Valdez, 27, after receiving multiple reports of a suspicious male photographing young children at the mall and other shopping areas in Jensen Beach.

Investigators said they were able to find him while he was riding a skateboard on Jensen Beach near Federal Highway and they questioned him.

According to a report, he lifted the skirt of a young girl and took pictures of her undergarments before running away.

Deputies said they found several images on his phone and he later confessed he took the pictures.

Valdez was arrested and charged with video voyeurism.

He is currently being held at the Martin County jail on a $750,000 bond.
