CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. ā€“ State records show a rodent issue insideĀ the food court at the Coral Square Mall last week.

Records show two restaurants were ordered shut because of rodent activity.

Rodent droppings were found in the kitchen at the Burger King and Sbarro in Coral Square.

A stop sale was also ordered on several items in the Sbarro because of temperature issues.

"We are committed to providing a safe, clean shopping and dining environment for our customers and mall employees," A Coral Square Mall representative said in a statement. "Coral Square Mall requires that all restaurant tenants maintain records supporting proof that regular pest control services have been performed at their place of business. In addition, all restaurants and retailers at every Simon Mall property are contractually obligated to adhere to guidelines that are issued by official agencies, including those issued by the Health Department."

Rodent activity was also found at the Mario The Baker in northeast Miami-Dade.

Below is a list of places that were ordered shut and some of their violations.

All of the places mentioned were allowed to re-open following an ordered clean-up and re-inspection.
