NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – Several men were taken into custody Thursday morning in North Miami.
Local 10 News had a crew in the area of Northeast 145th Street and 10th Avenue as officers captured a man wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt.
The man was put into the back seat of a Miami-Dade school police car and was taken away.
Not far from the area, Sky 10 was over a developing scene at Northeast 150th Street and Sixth Avenue.
Two men were arrested after jumping out of a gray car.
Neighbors in the area woke up to the scene and didn't know what to think.
"I didn't hear sirens. I just heard the helicopter. I didn't know what was going on. I was inside," Olga Harris said. "I just minded my own business because I didn't know what was going on out there."
Police said both scenes are related, but authorities would not immediately confirm why the men were arrested.
