MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Four people were injured Tuesday night in a drive-by shooting that was reported shortly after a candlelight vigil for a woman who was gunned down last week in Miami.

The shooting was reported just before 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lincoln Fields Apartments at 2051 NW 65th St.

Miami-Dade police said the victims had attended a candlelight vigil for Victoria Tutson, 30, at the complex, when about an hour after the vigil ended, a vehicle drove by and someone began firing at the victims.

Police said a 25-year-old woman who was injured in the shooting was found in the courtyard.

As authorities canvassed the area, two others, a 19-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, were found nearby.

Police said a fourth victim, a 32-year-old man, had been taken to North Shore Medical Center by an unknown person. He was then transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.

All victims are listed in stable condition.

Community leaders are urging anyone with information to come forward.

"As long as these killers are out there on the streets, eventually it's going to hit your home," Tangela Sears, a community activist, said.

Detectives said Tutson was killed the night of Sept. 26 as she was riding in a car near Northwest 17th Avenue and 65th Street.

Miami police said Tutson was riding in a vehicle with a man when someone shot into their car.

Tutson was shot multiple times.

Police said the man was not injured and drove her to North Shore Medical Center, where she died.
Authorities said he is cooperating with the investigation.

Tutson is survived by four children.

Anyone with information about either shooting is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
