PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Two masked men, one of them armed with an assault rifle, stormed into a South Florida cellphone store Wednesday.
The robbery occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. at the Metro PCS store on Pembroke Road in Pembroke Park.
Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Gina Carter said two men got out of a Nissan Maxima that pulled up in front of the store and ran inside, one of them armed with an assault rifle.
Surveillance video showed the rifle-toting robber aim the gun at the employees while the other robber demanded the cash drawers.
Carter said there were three employees and four customers, including a baby, inside the store. She said the crooks got away with three cash drawers.
Detectives are searching for the robbers.
