SUNRISE, Fla. – Sunrise police are searching for six people who stole multiple purses last month at a TJ Maxx store in Sunrise, authorities said.
The theft was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m. June 2 at the TJ Maxx at the Sawgrass Mills Mall.

Police said six females were captured on surveillance video stealing the purses, worth a total of $9,500.
It's unclear whether they are teenagers or adults.
Police said the thieves might have been driving a silver 2002 Mitsubishi Galant with Florida tag DIT-B34.
