Mail suspended in Canada after crow attacks

Canada Post says they'll resume when it's 'safe'

Canuck the crow is accused of attacking mail carriers

Mail delivery in Vancouver has been suspended after the city's famous Canuck the crow staged several attacks against a mail carrier.

According to CBC News, Canada Post says it will resume delivery to the three addresses affected when it has been deemed safe.

"The safety of the mail and our employees is of most importance," said a Canada Post spokesperson.

A University of British Columbia expert in bird behavior says the response by Canada Post has been "over-the-top" and crows don't pose any serious danger to mail carriers.

Canuck earned his fame in 2016 when he stole a knife from a crime scene.
