MIAMI – The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a missing cruise ship passenger man who fell overboard early Friday morning near the Bahamas.
Reco Scott, 32, of Decatur, Georgia, fell from the ninth deck of the Carnival Liberty cruise ship about 10 miles northwest of the Berry Islands, the Coast Guard said in a news release.
Scott fell overboard about 5 a.m.
The Coast Guard sent a helicopter crew from Clearwater and diverted the Coast Guard Cutter Charles David Jr. to search for Scott.
