Family seeks help in finding killer of North Lauderdale mother, daughter

$6,000 reward offered for information that leads to arrest

NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. ā€“ Relatives are seeking the publicā€™s help in finding the person who killed a mother and her 15-year-old daughter.

Police said Jada Allen and her mother, Temoco Williams, 48, were found in their home Jan. 28 suffering from gunshot wounds, after someone called 911.

Jada was pronounced dead at the scene and her mother was taken to Broward Health North, where she died.

Family members told reporters Thursday that Williams' surviving children have the right to know who killed their mother.

"They're scared. That person is still out there. That person took my mom," Nicole Williams said. "And that's what we want at the end of the day, for that person to be behind bars, and to be able to tell my niece and nephew that the person who did this to mom can't do this to anyone else."

Neighbors said the family had moved in only a few months ago. Jada was a student at Blanche Ely High School.

Authorities have not publicly identified any possible suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Sherrif's Office detectives at 954-321-4214 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $6,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
