LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – Donald Royce expected something when he married his new bride, and when he didn't get it, he took matters into his own hands.
And now Royce is in jail.

Royce, 76, of Lehigh Acres was arrested after he admitted to shooting his wife after the two argued over their sleeping arrangements.
WFTX reports Royce was upset that he and his 62-year-old bride hadn't had sex they were married in August. The two had been together for 6 years before getting hitched.
Royce told deputies that he didn't intend to shoot the woman, and just wanted to scare her by shooting the mattress.
Instead, Royce hit is wife in the buttocks and hip.
Royce has been charged with Aggravated Battery while his wife is recovering at home.
