WASHINGTON – The Trump administration says it is reviewing current relations between U.S. and Cuba, including the Wet Foot/Dry Foot policy

White House press secretary Sean Spicer made the announcement during Friday's media briefing when asked about Cubans who are in limbo since the Obama administration ended the decades old immigration policy.

"We are in the midst of a full review of all U.S. policies towards Cuba," Spicer said.

"The president is committed to an agenda of ensuring human rights for all citizens throughout the world," Spicer continued. "And as we review those policies in Cuba, that will be forefront in those policy discussions."

However, Spicer added that there was nothing further to report on in regards to the U.S.-Cuba relationship.

On Jan. 12, President Obama announced the cessation of the decades-long adherence to the Wet Foot/Dry Foot policy that allowed Cuban migrants to remain in the U.S. if they arrived in the country.
