HIALEAH, Fla. – A Hialeah resident killed one of the four intruders who barged into a home on Saturday, according to the Hialeah Police Department.
Witnesses told police the group broke into the home's garage at 1597 W. 77th St., near Miami Lakes.
"Three adult females were also in the home at the time," Sgt. Carl Zogby said in an e-mail.
After a struggle at the home, a man fired his weapon, Zogby said.
Witnesses told police the three other men involved in the alleged home invasion robbery left the house in a green car.
