BSO seeks trio of thieves who robbed two pawn shops at gunpoint

Robberies reported last month at Value Pawn & Jewelry stores

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for a trio of men who robbed two Value Pawn & Jewelry shops last month at gunpoint.

The first robbery was reported just before 11:30 a.m. Nov. 1 at the Value Pawn at 196 N. Powerline Road in Pompano Beach.

Surveillance video released Thursday shows one robber ordering the employees to the ground in the office by gunpoint, while the other two smashed a glass display and stole jewelry.

Deputies said the thieves left a trail of jewelry behind as they hurried to get inside a black SUV.

The second robbery was reported about 1:15 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Value Pawn at 602 S. State Road 7 in Margate.

Deputies said the trio threatened to kill the customers and employees inside the store and left with jewelry.

The thieves were seen on camera leaving the area in a dark-colored sedan that was parked around the corner from the pawn shop.
