FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A small plane made what was described as a hard landing Wednesday afternoon at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
Three people were on board, but no injuries were reported.

Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the landing gear on the Piper PA-34 collapsed after the plane landed on runway nine.
Airport spokesman Greg May said the runway would remain closed until the plane could be towed to a hangar.
