Storm winds cause trees to fall on 5 cars in Deerfield Beach

Crews to clean up debris Tuesday morning

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Several large trees fell on top of five cars Monday afternoon, during a storm that passed through Deerfield Beach, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office. 

A landscaper said he’d gotten a call about some branches that had fallen around an office complex. 

When he arrived, the landscaper noticed several large trees had fallen on at least five cars and debris all around the complex. 

Landscapers plan to be back Tuesday morning to clean up the debris.

A thunderstorm warning was issued for Deerfield Beach on Monday with strong winds and hail reported in the area. 

No injuries reported in the incident.
