MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A South Florida man will spend the rest of his life in prison after pleading guilty to a 2010 shooting that killed a man and injured three others.
Kamal Williams, 28, pleaded guilty Aug. 31 to numerous charges and was sentenced to a total of 230 years in prison.

The sentence includes 30 years for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, 40 years for second-degree murder with a firearm, 90 years for three counts of attempted premeditated murder, 40 years for tampering with a witness and victim and 30 years for retaliation against a witness resulting in injury.
According to Miami-Dade police, Williams, Lonnie Jones, Sabian Godfrey and Hasan Williams were involved in a shooting April 25, 2010, outside a home in the 9500 block of Northwest 29th Avenue.
Those shot were identified as Guilbert “Will” Cruz, 40, Ricardo Serrano, 40, Carlos Perez-Amaya, 31, and Wilfredo Rosales Urbina, 35.
All of the men were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where Rosales Urbina was pronounced dead.
The other victims suffered critical injuries.
Jones, Godfrey and Hasan Williams have yet to learn their fate.
