Miami police said Rodriguez was responsible for stealing hundreds of dollars' worth of beer Wednesday from a Publix and a Winn-Dixie.

According to an arrest affidavit, Rodriguez walked out of a Publix on Southwest First Avenue without paying for more than $150 worth of Corona beers. As he left, Rodriguez dropped his phone, and the store manager gave it to police.

Police said Rodriguez also walked out of a Winn-Dixie on Southwest 22nd Street with a dozen 12 packs of beer worth more than $300.

The Broward Sheriff's Office is also investigating whether Rodriguez is responsible for similar thefts in Broward County.
