Woman found dead inside Days Inn room in Oakland Park

Deputies investigate death as homicide

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – A woman's body was found Monday in a room on the fifth floor of a Days Inn in Oakland Park, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

The person who called 911 said the woman, identified as Jasmin Antee Nealy, 30, looked like she suffered a medical issue, BSO spokeswoman Gina Carter said.

By the time deputies arrived at the motel, in the 1500 block of Oakland Park Boulevard, the woman had been pronounced dead, Carter said.

Nealy's death has been classified a homicide. 

Homicide detectives have interviewed guests at the hotel in hopes of finding out how she died.
