DAVIE, Fla. – The body of a woman was found Tuesday morning floating in a canal in Davie, authorities said.
Sky 10 was above the 4700 block of Southwest 47th Avenue at 8:30 a.m. and saw the woman floating face down in the water, with police officers standing on the grass nearby.

Police said the body appears to be that of a woman between the age of 50 and 60.
Her identity is not known.
The body will be taken to the medical examiner's office for identification and to determine her cause of death.
Foul play is not suspected.
