MIRAMAR, Fla. – Firefighters were monitoring a mulch fire that started Wednesday morning in Miramar.
The main area was on a private property at Pembroke Road and 208th Avenue, just east of Interstate 75.

Firefighters were making sure the fire didn't spread and were letting it burn out.
A fire official told Local 10 News that the fire happens once a year.
No injuries were reported.
