FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A family of 12 has been displaced from their Fort Lauderdale home after a fire broke out Thursday morning, authorities said.
According to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Capt. Greg May, 11 people were inside the home along Northwest 10th Avenue when the fire started.

Everyone was able to escape the fire before authorities arrived.
Authorities said firefighters were able to extinguish the flames before the fire spread to other homes.
No injuries were reported.
