Woman arrested after drugging, robbing man in Coral Gables, police say

Milwaukee woman previously arrested on similar charges

MIAMI – A woman recently arrested for allegedly robbing men who she met at South Florida nightclubs and bars was arrested again Monday on allegations that she drugged and robbed another man last month in Coral Gables.

Qumisha Williams, 21, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was arrested Monday on multiple charges including grand theft, armed burglary, strong-arm robbery and poisoning food or water.

According to an arrest report, a man was at Morton's restaurant on Ponce De Leon Boulevard Jan. 6 when Williams started talking to him. After a few drinks, they went to his home and continued drinking, police said.

The man said he woke up and his Rolex, cash and a firearm were stolen. He said that he believed that he was drugged with Xanax, police said.

A similar incident was reported earlier in the night after a man met a woman at Hillstone on Miracle Mile. He said they had drinks and left the restaurant to go to his home.

The man said they had more drinks at his home, and he started to become light-headed and suspected he'd been drugged.

When the man woke up the next day, his Rolex watch was missing, and there was no sign of the woman.

Police have not tied that robbery to Williams.

According to an arrest report, the first victim of Williams', who was a tourist from London, was targeted Dec. 13 and Williams went back to the man’s hotel room with him.

The victim told police that they continued to drink alcoholic beverages in his room and he got undressed to enter a bath that Williams had drawn for him.

He said a short time after he entered the bath, Williams opened the room’s safe and snatched his $8,000 Rolex watch, $100 in cash and his United Kingdom driver’s license.

He said he jumped out of the bath, chased Williams, and a physical struggle ensued as she headed for the staircase.

According to the victim, Williams attacked him by biting, punching, kicking and scratching him all over his body. He said a $1,000 platinum necklace was snatched off his neck during the struggle, but was found at the bottom of the staircase after Williams ran off.

She was arrested later that day.

After bonding out of jail, Williams was arrested again in January on allegations that she robbed a man in Miami Beach.

"She met (the) gentleman at the SLS pool and bar where they had drinks. Defendant returned to the victim's room, victim fell asleep (and) his Rolex had disappeared, and other items as well," Miami-Dade County Circuit Court Judge Mindy Glazer said.

Williams is being held in jail without bond.
