MIAMI – An argument over a parking spot led to a fatal shooting outside a Miami nightclub, police said.
Miami police said the victim, identified as Jackson Solis, 33, left El Secreto near Northwest Seventh Street and Northwest 17th Place about 2:45 a.m. Saturday and got into some sort of confrontation with the shooter.
Solis was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.
"I went inside instead of helping my brother out, and he got shot," a friend, who identified himself only as Martin, told Local 10 News.
Family and friends gathered Saturday night for a candlelight vigil at the scene of the shooting.
Police said no arrest has been made.
