FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are trying to identify a masked gunman who robbed a Kentucky Fried Chicken near Fort Lauderdale while customers were inside.
The robbery was reported Dec. 22 at the KFC on West Sunrise Boulevard.
Surveillance video shows the gunman enter the fast-food restaurant, walk past a line of customers and slide over the counter. He then demanded money from employees, emptying out the cash register at the drive-thru window before removing the cash from one of the registers at the main counter.
The robber climbed over the counter and walked out with the cash drawer and a backpack full of cash.
