FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man who was found dead in the New River on Halloween morning has been identified.
Fort Lauderdale police Detective Tracy Figone said the body of Jonah Hardrick, 51, was found shortly before noon Saturday in the river near the 400 block of Tarpon Terrace.

Figone did not say how Hardrick died or if foul play is suspected.
