ISLAMORADA, Fla. – A mobile home in the Florida Keys was destroyed Tuesday in a fire.
The fire started shortly after noon at the Sea Breeze RV & Mobile Home Park in Islamorada on Plantation Key.
Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin said deputies were called to make sure that nobody was inside. She said neighboring properties were evacuated as a precaution.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
