NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Police are investigating after a body was found Monday floating in a canal in North Miami Beach.
Sky 10 was above the scene just after 11 a.m. at Northeast 167th Street and 16th Avenue as the body was floating in the middle of the canal.

Police said the victim is a man. It is unclear how he ended up in the canal.
Police said the body will be taken to the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death.
The man's identity was not immediately released.
