MIAMI – A wild dolphin recently surprised a group of snorkelers in Hawaii.
The group was swimming in clear, warm waters near the shore, where spinner dolphins usually rest.

"Most of the dolphins swam alongside us in groups," Ryan Pipes said.
But there was one small, long-beaked dolphin that decided to show off for about 35 seconds. The light grey Hawaiian spinner swam fast, jumped out of the water and performed spinning tricks in the air.
Pipes posted the "Wild Dolphin Triple Barrel Roll" video on YouTube Monday. The dolphins can revolve around their longitudinal axis as many as seven times in one leap out of the water, according to marine biologists.
