SOUTHWEST RANCHES, Fla. – A small brush fire started Wednesday morning off U.S. Highway 27 in western Broward County.
The fire burned in a wooded area off U.S. 27 between Stirling and Griffin roads.
Sky 10 was above the fire as a plume of smoke could be seen rising through the trees.
Firefighters at the scene said the fire was contained.
The fire did not pose a threat to any homes or businesses.
