MIAMI – The Miami Police Department is asking for the public's help after a man was killed in the Wynwood neighborhood of the city early Saturday morning.
Police said Thomas Quass, 41, was shot shortly before 2 a.m. on Northwest 26th Street.
Officer Kenia Fallat said Quass and a girlfriend were walking to their car from a nearby nightclub when they were confronted by a gunman.
Words were exchanged, and at some point Quass was shot, Fallat said.
Quass was pronounced dead at Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
Fallat said the gunman got away in a waiting gray 2013-2015 Hyundai Veloster (similar to vehicles pictured below).
