HIALEAH, Fla. – A 79-year-old man who walked away from his Hialeah home Thursday was found dead Friday morning.
The body of Pedro Sotelo was discovered in a canal very close to his home, Hialeah police Sgt. Carl Zogby said.

Zogby said Sotelo suffered from Alzheimer's and lived with his daughter on West 20th Avenue.
A medical examiner will determine Sotelo's cause of death.
