MIAMI – A bomb threat at a federal building in downtown Miami prompted a large police presence Monday afternoon.
Miami police said the threat was made at the federal building, 51 SW First Ave.
The area surrounding the building was blocked off with police tape.
Local 10 News reporter Glenna Milberg said someone called claiming there was a bomb on the fifth floor.
It was later determined to be safe and all roads were reopened.
Police said the incident was being investigated by federal officials.
