FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man was taken to the hospital after a fire broke out early Wednesday morning at a home in Fort Lauderdale.
According to the Fort Lauderdale Fire Department, firefighters were called to the scene at 1800 NE Seventh St. about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. They found the man had been burned trying to put the flames out with a hose.
The fire was extinguished, but its cause is still under investigation.
