MIAMI – A South Florida mom is sharing surveillance photos that show two thieves stealing packages from her front porch.
It all happened Dec. 18 at 1931 SW 36th Ave. in Miami.
Lauren Schuster told Local 10 News that UPS delivered four packages to her home and within minutes, the packages were gone.
"No one was home and the packages were delivered around 5:09," she said. "By 5:23, the packages were gone."
Schuster shared surveillance photos that show a man and a woman walking up to her front door and stealing the packages. The duo is in a White Lexus SUV.
"I feel completely violated," she added. "I'm paranoid. Every time I see a car, I wonder if they're going to come down here and stop at my house."
Miami police confirm that there may be multiple victims.
"These individuals are doing their homework," said Sgt. Freddie Cruz. "They're patrolling the streets. They're looking for packages left unattended in front of someone's house."
The thieves could face federal charges.
"They're stealing from mailboxes, and trying to ruin the holiday spirit," Cruz added.
Schuster said the thieves got away with baby diapers, birdseed, prescription drugs and air conditioning vents.
