MIAMI ā Two people were arrested by police Tuesday night during a Miami protest of the grand jury decision in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown.
A group of about 100 protesters gathered outside the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building in downtown Miami.
Local 10 News reporter Terrell Forney said two protesters crossed the yellow police tape that surrounded the courthouse. Those two people were identified as Phillip Agnew, 29, of Hialeah, and Jeremy Shaw, 25, of Pompano Beach.
"We are moving non-violently through that tape to the left because it's making me angry," Agnew told the crowd moments before his arrest. "Let's do it."
That led to a scuffle on the courthouse steps that ended with Agnew being tackled and handcuffed. Shaw was also led away in handcuffs.

Police said both were arrested on charges of failure to obey lawful order.
"Unfortunately there were two individuals that just wanted to push the line and get onto the property, and our main priority is the courthouse to make sure the courthouse remains safe," Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said.
The protest was one of several throughout the country in the aftermath of a St. Louis County, Missouri, grand jury's decision not to seek charges against Ferguson police Officer Darren Wilson for the Aug. 9 shooting.

In an exclusive interview with ABC News' George Stephanopoulos, Wilson said he was sorry that Brown is dead but added his conscience is clear because he was simply doing his job.
"This is bigger than Mike Brown. This is bigger than every single life that's been taken," demonstrator Jesse Cosme said. "It's all of them as a collective now. We all have been pushed too far, and this is us speaking up, finally."
