MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are investigating after a United States Postal Service mail carrier was robbed at gunpoint.
The incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Northwest 16th Avenue and 119th Street in northwest Miami-Dade County.
According to police, the victim was robbed of her master key by two armed black men.
USPS officials told Local 10 News that the thieves made off with other items from the victim's truck as well.
The mail carrier, who is a 10-year veteran of the USPS, was not injured during the robbery.
