MIAMI – A father and his four children have been found safe Saturday in New York after they were reported missing Friday.
Officials with the Department of Children and Families said a check was done on the family in July.

DCF went back to the home Friday and found the father and all four of the children were gone.
The father was identified as 36-year-old Armando Rivera. His children are Armando Rivera Jr., 6, Fabian Rivera, 12, Natalia Rivera, 11, and Ebony Rivera, 9.
Miami police said the family were found in New York in good condition.
