Do you want the Virgin Mary on your grilled cheese sandwich? Here is a way to do it

Novelty toast manufacturer can turn your selfie or religous image into breakfast

MIAMI – Remember the Miami woman who said a 10-year-old grilled cheese sandwich had the image of the Virgin Mary?  Well, now there is a way for you to see the religious image on your morning toast every day.

And there is no need to pay $28,000. Earlier this year, Galen Dively Stil came up with the idea when he engraved a plate with a photo of his son.

"It came out great," said Dively. "He loved it, and then he ate it."

Dively told ABC News that he downloaded a high-resolution photo, and turned it into a stencil-like file that a plasma cutter read. The machine cut out the image on a sheet metal.

After making the toast for his son, he came up with the  toaster that can stamp a face on sliced bread.  Dively, the founder of Vermont Novelty Toast Corp.'s  Burnt Impressions, has been manufacturing novelty toasters for four years.

His newest invention retails for $75 and ships for free. Dively has some tips for those who decide to get the toaster.

"You want to choose a bread that's not very airy. White bread works really well, but I've used Ezekiel bread," Dively said. "It all depends on the design, too. If the design has more fine details, then you really want to get a fine-grain bread."
